We wear shoes. To school, to the library, to anywhere! Our health depends on our shoe. Look down at your shoes. Are they Adidas? Converse? Or even sandals? Shoes are important to our bodies. Your shoes could could you to hurt in a lot of places.

The most popular shoes are not always the best for you. A experienced shoe seller says that Nike, Under Armour, and Adidas are not the best shoes for kids 12 and under. Why?  She states that these shoes are very narrow on the sides squeezing children’s feet inside. They are also very flimsy and not properly supporting kid’s ankles. Children could sprain their ankles or even break an ankle because that shoe did not have strong enough support. Along with sprained ankle there are also foot problems such as ingrown nail, warts, or hurting legs and a sore back.

The recommended shoes from the shoe seller are New Balance, Saucony, Asics, Stride Rite, and Geox. They don’t look the prettiest but they are the best for kid’s feet and bodies.

When kids go shopping for shoes, they should think about their health instead of the shoe’s looks.

Just because some types of shoes are not recommended for an age group and you were that type it doesn’t mean that you do not care for feet. The professional quote was more of an opinion. I am 11 and wear Nike shoes. I have never broken any bones wearing the brand
